God at Work!!

Since coming back from my holiday I have been thrilled to really sense God at work in the building of relationships between the congregation and the wider community. Whether it be connecting with some young people through Sidewalk, or the prospect of an acoustic cafe starting in our building for young people, or the possibilities connected with a small group looking at developing a money ministry including offering budgeting advice or the relationships being developed through the Keep Fit Group on Tuesday evening, or indeed the fantastic light and bright night we had with over 100 children, young people and parents turning up.

I would like to thank all those from the congregation who are so supportive of these activities and events...for those who come and get stuck in, for those who quietly support through prayer and for those who know the need to encourage. God is working in us and through us- PRAISE GOD!

I was also thrilled on Friday lunch time when a group of 9 gathered together to think about life with the "Miracle Maker". The soup, friendship and discussion were great. We shared some of our personal memories and discussed some of our memories of God working in our lives. It was a great encouragement- I am really looking forward to next Friday and would encourage everyone who is able to come along and be part of it.
